How are you all hanging in there? I must admit, I’ve been feeling a bit of isolation exhaustion over the past few days.
I miss traveling, teaching (in person) and hiking in nature every day with my dog. I consoled myself by binge watching “Anne with an E” on Netflix (loved it!), petting my collie and watching my daughter make me vegan gluten-free strawberry shortcake for Mother’s Day.
(Gee, poor me, LOL) I know, I suddenly realized I was being a real baby and have nothing to complain about! I was reminded of the great Wayne Dyer quote, “Change the way you look at things, and the things you look at change.” Searching for the good in all moments is a powerful spiritual practice and one that must be constantly nurtured.Searching for the good in all moments is a powerful spiritual practice and one that must be constantly nurtured. It’s times like these that I’m ever so grateful for my family (human and animal), my meditation practice, my classes and my students to bring me back to balance and clarity!
It was so great to see many of you on Monday in my free webinar: “Introduction to Meditating with Animals.” As you know, I shared a special “All is Well” meditation (from my soon-to-be-released book, The Let Animals Lead® Method of Animal Reiki Meditation Journal) to help everyone relax their bodies, open their minds and expand their hearts for the good of animals. What a truly healing experience to join together in the light for the benefit of our animal friends!
