Words from Students
I just finished my second Animal Reiki I and Animal Reiki II Workshops with Kathleen Prasad. This time I had the pleasure of doing them at the C.A.R.E. Foundation in Apopka, Florida with wild animals (as opposed to BrightHaven Animal Hospice in Santa Rosa, CA). I'd like to say that after these workshops, I gained a much deeper and richer understanding of the philosophy that Kathleen's teachings are based upon. This will definitely help my approach with the animals to whom I've been offering Reiki at my local animal shelter. For this I am grateful. Kathleen teaches about the importance of being firmly grounded in this work. She is always emphasizing our own inner work to establish a strong foundation. For someone who can be easily overwhelmed, I truly welcome the wisdom of this! Her teaching also comes from a place of oneness and heart connections, which really resonates with me. Kathleen's own sense of being grounded / centered are an inspiration of practicing what she teaches. I highly recommend Kathleen's Animal Reiki Workshops. After 10+ years of experience in Animal Reiki, her expertise and beautiful spirit brightly shine through!! -Kristin D., CA
I have been enjoying relaying my experiences with my family and friends! Having spent a portion of my childhood living on a wildlife sanctuary in Florida with my family, the experience at C.A.R.E was extra special for me. Even though Laurie and I were only there for one day of the series of classes, it felt like we were there the whole time! So *much* experienced in the one day...completely amazing... I will always remember my experience with Elita and the lessons she taught me about trusting and following *my* own instincts about what was happening during the session. The connection and power of the energy was undeniable. It was really like I wouldn't have been able to get up and leave even if I wanted too! Powerful... Honestly, I am almost always in some sort of abdominal discomfort in varying degrees; after being with Elita in that space, my pain is better! Thank YOU, Elita! Thank you Kathleen and Leah for making it possible to learn more and more in such a unique and beautiful place. I am SO happy to have had the opportunity to have met you, Leah. You are the embodiment of love and kindness. Truly. Absolutely radiant! It was very special to get to see you again, Kathleen. Your wisdom and amazing ability to teach; helping us understand our true nature and showing us how to connect with animals more deeply - all of it more meaningful than words can express. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! -Kay R., GA
