I am the guardian of a 6 month old Jack Russell Terrier female, named Sara.
She was born the runt of the litter. She came to me as a rescue puppy. She had been stepped on, mostly not fed, hit with papers, and not taken care of for a month.
She had trauma issues, food issues, a problem with her right hip, fear
of everyone, fear of noises, and when she was vaccinated began
seizures. She has been taken off most chemicals and dyes. She is going on a regular diet of natural beef and chicken, which has been
supplemented with brown rice, fruits and vegetables.
She has recently been seen by Joe Modica, Reiki Master
(www.dreamweaverenergyworks.com), on several occasions. I believe in alternative medicines and healers. After a session with Joe, I decided that he could help Sara get to the other side of her birth issues, and help with her hip problems, which affected how she would lay, sit, and run.
After her first session with Joe, she was calmer than before. She would listen to me when I spoke to her. Within three days, she had finally become house-trained. It was as though the pieces slipped into place in her brain. She began to have very restive sleep. She started to dream and have running sessions in her dreams.
Her issues with eating continued in that she would take mouthfuls of
food away to chew, but this was not every time, nor was it all the
dish. There was progress made.
During the time between sessions, Sara played with her pet turtle
Tillie, which Joe had energized with Reiki. If something had upset her
in the day, she took Tillie with her to sleep in her crate. Her
stubborn streak softened slightly, and learning was easier. Running was freer. She was happier.
While she was being treated the second time, she simply stretched out several times. This was quite unusual for a puppy visiting a house
which is not her own. While Joe and I talked, Sara roamed around and came back to Joe when she was ready for more Reiki energy. She would put her body where she wanted the energy to flow into. At several points it was her right hip she drew attention to.
Since the most recent visit with Joe, Sara is sleeping, stretched out
long, more often, which I think is because her hip no longer bothers
her. Watching her run today, she was like a streak, kicking up her
feet. I walk, while she runs, so I get a chance to observe her gait. It
has improved greatly, since seeing Joe. She has been sleeping longer periods and does not require to go out overnight. Perhaps this is simply maturity, but I think it is the stabilizing of her energy and
the relief of the hip pain.
Animals can not tell us when they hurt. Only the observation of their
behavior, tells us what is going on with them. Thank you Reiki, and
thank you to Joe for facilitating this process.
