Horses Who Lead Me To People Who Need Healing

There have been many times when I've gone to give healing to a horse
and a person associated with that horse has needed healing as well.
Through treating the horse and linking the human both have been helped.
These are the times when the horse has led me to people who need
healing, situations where that person would not otherwise have
considered or thought that healing could help their particular problem.
The response of the horse has stimulated the person involved to want to
participate in the healing for a benefit to themselves.
One such situation occurred when I went to see a beautiful chestnut
gelding called Oro (which means gold in Spanish). It was the second
time that I'd visited the horse, which the vet had diagnosed as
suffering from a severe allergic reaction, and I was giving healing
treatments to help raise the immune system. On this second visit, just
as I was just about to start, a man in a wheelchair suddenly buzzed
into the yard. My client introduced him as Phil, her husband, and I
felt that there was more work to be done that day than treat the horse.
Phil sat watching me and said that he was fascinated by what I had come
to do -- his wife had explained the reactions of the horse during my
last visit and her own responses as she held the rope. "Come over,
Phil, and take a contact," I said, "if you would like to share in the
healing."
Phil, who I guessed to be in his forties, moved his chair closer to the
stable door and I placed the rope in his hands as his wife stood to one
side of him. I placed my hands on Oro's back -- he was a model patient
-- and tuned in to the healing energy. Now Oro is a particularly
sensitive horse with a highly active energy field. I had noted during
my first visit that I had to take my hands off several times as he
became so wobbly on his legs. So I made sure that I directed the energy
flow through gently and after a couple of minutes I glanced across at
Phil. I looked down at the rope and could see golden light shooting
along the rope like it was on fire.
The aura of energy I saw was powerful and strong and I looked back at
the horse -- he was showing signs of endorphin response, his head
drooping and his eyes closing. "I feel light-headed," Phil suddenly
said. "That's a good response," I replied, not expecting what happened
next. Phil promptly dropped the rope and fainted, slumping forward in
his chair. His wife is a highly qualified nurse and she moved to help
him so I wasn't alarmed, but I knew something very special had
responded to Phil's desire to experience the healing. After a few
minutes Phil was bright again and said, "I want more, please, can I
have the rope back." So I carried on and at the end of the session Phil
said that his neck pain had gone and that he felt energized.
I was very pleased to be able to help this man, who has spent more than
twenty years in a wheelchair after a motor racing accident. The healing
energy, which had channelled from me through the horse and out to the
man, had taken on an added power and the beneficial effects to Phil
lasted for several days.
Then there was Tina, who didn't tell me when I went to give healing to
her horse that she had a history of depression. One of the reasons that
she called me to treat her mare was that the horse was in low spirits
due to bad treatment in a previous home. I guess Tina felt a
subconscious sympathy with the mare's depression, having spent years
with a black cloud of her own which never seemed very far away. Tina
was certainly very intuitive and in touch with her horse's feelings and
mind. The horse responded very well to the healing treatment and there
were lots of positive releases and signs that she would feel much
improved. As always, I asked her owner to place her hand on the mare as
I worked so that she could see what she picked up of the healing energy
and Tina reported a lot of reactions.
A week later Tina rang me. Her horse had never appeared better. For a
day after the healing the mare was quite exuberant, as though she
couldn't believe how different she felt; then she settled into a
calmness, which had remained. But Tina also wanted to tell me of
something strange that had happened to her after my visit. The next
morning she had woken with her cloud of depression there as bad as it
had ever been. For two days she felt bad, but something was different
this time, she felt that she could cope. On the third day the
depression had suddenly gone and she felt fantastic. I explained that
the healing she shared with her horse must have worked to clear out her
own emotional blockages releasing that disturbed energy and clearing it
away. A year later Tina and her horse still feel very happy and are
enjoying a new lease of life together.
These are just two examples of horses that have led me to people who
need healing but there have been many more such cases. Our lives are
interwoven and linked with our horses with which we share an energy in
this world. I believe that there is a great deal to discover and to
learn about the purpose of our shared journey. With improved empathy
there is much more help that we can give our horses and in return
receive from them. We only need to open our hearts and minds.
